As the largest gold producer in the state of Victoria, Fosterville is a high-grade, low-cost underground gold mine, featuring an extensive in-mine and district-scale exploration potential.
The mine began production in 2005 and has extracted 4.4 million ounces of gold to the end of 2024.
Ore is processed at the Fosterville mill, using conventional crushing and grinding followed by flotation, bacterial oxidation and CIL circuits to recover gold.
