Behind every achievement at Agnico Eagle are individuals and teams who make a meaningful impact across our business.
On July 22, 2026, in Toronto, we proudly celebrated the individuals and teams whose contributions continue to strengthen our business and bring our values of Trust, Respect, Responsibility, Family, and Equity to life. Through innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence, our recipients and finalists exemplify what is possible when people work together toward a common goal. Their achievements were recognized through two of our most prestigious honours: the Collaborative Excellence Award and the Good Move Award.
The Collaborative Excellence Award
We are proud to recognize Ash Rodgers, Strategic Optimisation Superintendent at our Fosterville mine in Australia, as the 2025 recipient of the Collaborative Excellence Award. This award honours the legacy of Larry Connell, a highly respected Company leader, and the collaborative spirit he championed throughout his career at Agnico Eagle.
For more than 14 years, Ash has been one of the quiet forces behind Fosterville's success. Known for his humility, respect for others, and commitment to teamwork, he has built strong relationships across engineering, operations, projects, technical services, processing, and strategic optimization.
Ash has played an important role in several major initiatives, including mine control transformation, infrastructure upgrades, the Fill the Mill improvement program, and efforts to reduce exposure at the brow (the rock opening to where mineralised ore is extracted using teleremote equipment ) to help keep people safe.
When presenting Ash with the award, Natasha Vaz, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Ontario, Australia & Mexico added: "Since meeting Ash, I've been impressed by his ability to listen, communicate, and bring people together. He genuinely cares about what others have to say and works hard to find common ground. The trust and respect he has earned from his colleagues speak volumes about the kind of leader he is."
As Luke Krois, General Manager, Fosterville, shared:
"Ash has embodied Agnico Eagle's values from student to senior leader. He is the quiet force behind our planning, collaboration, and safe productivity. His integrity, initiative, and deep care for people have strengthened Fosterville for 14 years. Ash consistently unites teams, solves complex problems, and protects our culture. He represents the very spirit of Larry Connell. Ash Rodgers – Culture of the Heart – a true Fosterville champion."
As part of this recognition, Agnico Eagle will donate $5,000 CAD donation to Ash's chosen charity, the Kiwanis Club of Bendigo, a volunteer-led organization dedicated to supporting children, families, and the wider community.
Accepting the award, Ash reflected on the collaborative spirit that the award celebrates:
"I find it hard to accept this as an individual award, so I'll accept it on behalf of everyone I've had the privilege to work with."
Through his humility, teamwork, and willingness to help others succeed, he exemplifies the qualities this award was created to recognize. As we continue to build on our culture of collaboration, leaders like Ash remind us that our greatest achievements come from working together.

Thank you, Ash, Adrián, Jonny, Patrick and Yan, for living our values every day, supporting your colleagues, and helping build the culture that makes Agnico Eagle a great place to work.
The Good Move Award
This year, we are proud to recognize the Goldex Complex Team as the recipient of the 2025 Good Move Award for the successful implementation of a new canister reamer (a large-diameter drilling tool) for stope borehole drilling. The project delivered significant improvements in efficiency, cost savings, sustainability, and safety, demonstrating the impact of innovation powered by teamwork.
Led by Mathieu Verreault, Optimization Project Engineer, the team improved drilling performance by introducing a new 24-inch canister reamer. The results were impressive. Drilling performance increased by 150%, borehole costs were reduced by 20%, and surface vibrations remained within safe limits during blasting. The improvements also accelerated the stope drilling process, saving approximately 250 drilling shifts in 2025 alone.
Beyond performance gains, the project delivered meaningful safety and sustainability benefits. The new canister consumes 25% less compressed air than the previous reamer, helping reduce energy use and operating costs. Overall, the initiative generated approximately $450,000 in savings in 2025 and is expected to generate up to $5 million in savings over the life of the mine.
Presented in honour of Michel Létourneau, a respected mentor, leader, and champion of Agnico Eagle's values, the Good Move Award recognizes initiatives that create lasting value through safety, innovation, and operational excellence.
Carol, Executive Vice President, Sustainability, People & Culture, reflected on how the Good Move program began: "It didn’t matter if the good move was large or small. What mattered was that people recognized the contributions of others and expressed their appreciation. Every good move recognized deepened relationships and built stronger teams."
In recognition of this achievement, Agnico Eagle will make a $5,000 CAD donation on behalf of the Goldex Complex Team to the registered charity of their choice, Fondation Christian Vachon, an organization dedicated to helping vulnerable children succeed in school and in life through essential support and opportunities.
Through their innovation, commitment, and teamwork, the Goldex Complex Team has demonstrated how a great idea can create lasting value for both our operations and our people.
Congratulations to all the recipients and finalists of the 2025 Collaborative Excellence Award and Good Move Award. Thank you for bringing our values to life, inspiring those around you, and strengthening the culture of collaboration that makes Agnico Eagle a great place to work.
