The Company continues to explore the 7-square-kilometre property for its gold potential at depth and to the east of the Lapa deposit.

In 2011, the Lapa exploration program consists of 22,700 metres of drilling at a cost of $2.1 million, as well as $3.6 million to continue excavating an exploration drift about 800 metres farther to the east at 1,000 metres depth. This drift will provide underground exploration access to the Zulapa corridor and the Contact zone. About 34% of the exploration drilling budget will be used for exploration in close vicinity to the mine infrastructure, and 66% will be used for drilling from the exploration drift.
